Public Service career-seekers:

This scholarship fund named after retired Chula Vista Fire Captain Roger Haley, is awarded to aspiring EMTs, paramedics, nurses and firefighters, who demonstrate a commitment to achieving their goal of becoming a public servant.  Local high school and college students pursuing an education in healthcare or public safety are eligible to apply for this one-time scholarship award.

Important TIPS

Please take your time while filling out the application – make sure each question has either the requested information or “N/A” if the question does not apply to you. You’ll also need to upload a PDF of your transcripts with classes and grades!

It’s a good idea to review and either print or write down the questions, then compose and proof everything on a separate document prior to completing the application! When you’re ready to apply, you can copy/paste your answers to make it fast and easy – and upload your transcripts via our portal.
