Bring your emailed receipt – and THANK YOU for helping us make this such an egg-citing event! Come early to check in for your wave, visit vendor booths, and enjoy activities. Check-in begins approximately 1 hour prior to each wave. This event is free and open to all, but YOU MUST HAVE A TICKET to hunt!

Event Hours: 8 – 11:30 am
Family friendly activities throughout the morning such as our mini-tiller, kids firefighter challenge, Home Depot kids workshop, interactive educational experiences and more!
The egg hunt will be broken up into 3 waves. All age groups will be available in each wave.
- 0 – 4 years old
- 5 – 7 years old
- 8 – 12 years old
All times are approximate.
- Wave 1: 9:30 – 9:45 am
(check-in 8:15 – 9:15 am)
- Wave 2: 10:15 – 10:30 am
(check-in 9:00 – 10:00 am)
- Wave 3: 11:00 – 11:15 am
(check-in 9:45 – 10:45 am)
Event Rules:
- All participants must have a ticket.
- Early check-in is highly recommended. Bring your emailed receipt with you to the check-in booth.
- BYOB! Bring your own basket(s).
- You must hunt in your age group.

By attending and participating in the Chula Vista Firefighters Annual Easter Egg Hunt, attendees and participants, their parents/guardians, and/or their heirs hereby release Chula Vista Firefighters Local 2180, the Chula Vista Firefighters Foundation, and the City of Chula Vista, its officers, employees and agents, and any other people, vendors and/or sponsors officially connected with this event, from any and all liability for damage to or loss of personal property, sickness or injury from whatever source, legal entanglements, imprisonment, death, or loss of money, which might occur while participating in this event. Specifically, attendees and participants, their parents/guardians, and/or their heirs release said persons from any and all liability or responsibility. Attendees and participants and/or their parents/guardians should be aware of the risks of participation, which include, but are not limited to, the possibility of sprained muscles and ligaments, broken bones, illness, and fatigue. By participating, parents/guardians and the participants hereby acknowledge that they and/or their children are in sufficient physical condition to accept a rigorous level of physical activity and have no pre-existing conditions that may be exacerbated by participating. By participating, attendees and participants and/or their parents/guardians understand that participation in this program is strictly voluntary and is freely chosen. Attendees and participants understand that the Chula Vista Firefighters, Local 2180, Chula Vista Firefighters Foundation, and the City of Chula Vista do not provide medical coverage for attendees and participants and/or their parents/guardians.
