Scholarship recipientScholarship Information:  
The Chula Vista Firefighters Foundation would like to invite all high school seniors, who qualify, to apply for our one-time scholarship of $1,500. Each year a number of scholarships will be awarded after reviewing all applications.

Qualifications:
Students must reside in the city of Chula Vista and attend one of the six high schools within its city limits (Bonita Vista, Castle Park, Chula Vista, Eastlake, Hilltop, or Otay Ranch).

Applicant must have a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA over four years of high school. Applicant must have an interest in major related to healthcare or public safety (Firefighter, Paramedic, Nurse, etc.)

Recipients are not just those with the highest grade-point average., the best athlete or most popular. Rather, they are the best all around candidates who care about others, are honest, personable and major contributors to their school. Participation in sports, extracurricular activities, community service, or having an after school job are all positives that may put the recipient at the top of the pack.

a. Application
b. Letter of Recommendation
c. Official, sealed High School Transcript
