The Chula Vista Firefighter’s Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that strives to enhance the quality of life for all Chula Vista citizens by supporting fire safety, community programs and encouraging fire suppression careers.

Our Board of Directors is comprised of firefighters and community business leaders that meet throughout the year to plan fundraisers, organize events in the community and distribute donated funds that come into the Foundation. The Foundation is a 100% volunteer based organization – which means all of the money we raise goes straight to worthy causes.

In recent years the CVFF has given thousands of dollars in scholarships to deserving local youths throughout the South Bay through the
Roger Haley Memorial Scholarship Fund, assistance to The Burn Center to victims of regional and local disasters, and support of the Chula Vista Explorer Fire Cadet/Explorer program.

In addition to these programs, thousands more in Albertson and Ralphs coupons are made available each year to engine companies so that they can lend a hand to people that they come across during the year who are in need of a meal, blankets, or just a little kindness and support to help make things a little easier.
