The Chula Vista Firefighter's Foundation provides assistance for disaster relief, safety education and community needs to citizens of Chula Vista and San Diego County through humanitarian aid, financial support and general assistance to ensure quality of life.
The board of directors is comprised of firefighters and community business leaders who meet six or more times a year to plan fund raisers, organize events in the community and decide how to best spend the raised and donated funds that come into the Foundation during the year. Everyone participating in the Foundation is volunteers.
Our various connections in the community service groups in Chula Vista will open up opportunities for fire personnel, and/or their family members to participate in meaningful community programs in the future.
Our income is derived from United Way donations from Chula Vista employees, the Albertsons and Ralphs grocery community programs, donated vehicle program, fundraisers and various donations from corporations, businesses and private citizens. |
